Last week, the World Employment Confederation (the global trade association representing the industry) organised its annual conference in Brussels. It was a unique opportunity to demonstrate and value the key role played by recruiters in delivering better labour market outcomes for all. Under the main theme “Working in a digital age”, the conference highlighted the need to keep the human dimension of recruitment while adopting the latest technology (tech & touch). And of course all speakers agreed that in order to fight talent scarcity, recruiters are at the forefront to win that battle!
