It’s International Recruiters Day, and when I think about where recruiters are today, I still go back to the point of, we have this amazing superpower as recruiters. We have the ability, and it’s a psychological advantage that we have over almost every other profession.
We have the ability, the human psychology ability to just go and make people feel wanted, to make them feel desired. That’s never gonna stop. AI can’t actually do that.
They can make you go, oh my gosh, it keeps reaching out, and it keeps nudging me, and it wants me to do something. But we have an innate ability to make another person feel desired. And it’s a very human emotion, it’s a very unique human emotion that we have.
And so remember that on International Recruiters Day, you have a superpower. Every single person you talk to, even the ones that blow you off and treat you like crap, they’re gonna go back to tell somebody and go “like, oh my gosh, I got a call today, I’m wanted, I’m desired”. Yeah, because I can do that, because I’m a great recruiter, and I can make you feel wanted.
That’s my superpower. Go make somebody feel desired today on International Recruiters Day.
